a parisian loft

A loft in Paris ... yes please, when can I move in? Love the custom-made bookshelves and the floor material is right up my alley. Nice!

It was one of my New Year's resolutions to make it to Paris this year but I think that's the only one I have to break. (Hubby, are you reading this? Surprise me, please surprise me!) But I have probably bookmarked like 50 hotels and considering everything I want to see I'll need to spend at least three months there! Three months in Paris – doesn't that sound wonderful?

We're enjoying Indian summer in Antwerp and it's beautiful. Yesterday the kids and I went to the Park after school and soaked up the sun. Wherever you are I hope the weather is treating you nicely!

  2. that's a great find. I think I prefer the wood a little darker/older tho. looks all so sparkling new and not lived in yet...

Paris is beautiful. I'm sure you make it there soon!

  4. I wish I could have more natural wood in my house, it always looks so good and fresh, elegant and rustic at the same time. Wonderful find.

  5. I love paris too! I've wanted to live and work there my entire life. Somehow I feel at home there. My boyfriend just gave me (us) a trip to Paris for my birthday. Maybe you should tell your husband that :-) Men like competition!

  6. Btw, I almost waved and shouted at a woman a few days ago because I thought it was you! She looked just like you, was wearing a (military)-green coat and she was on her bike with two children in the Lange Gasthuisstraat. In the end, I decided not to risk looking like a lunatic! :-)
